Womens Nike Air Summer Beacon
In 2004 we saw this shoe for the first time. It was a strange, yet very popular shoe. The Nike Air Storm/Summer Beacon released in over 10 different colourways but only saw the shoe on sale for a year or two. Engineered as a fast drying system for running in wet conditions. While the names imply that the “Storm” would be more weatherproof and the “Summer” would be lighter and more breathable, there is no facts that back that up. The tech looks the same on both pairs but the main difference is the overlaying membrane over the cage. The Storm Beacon is a tight lycra type material and the Summer Beacon is a more airtex type material.
